Acknowledgement of Country
Strathmore North Primary School acknowledges the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners of the Land. We recognise the deep connection the First People have with this land, its waterways and skies. In particular, we honour Wilami Wunmabil, our bordering creek, which flows thorugh time to connect us to the Wurundjeri People of the past. For all the years to come, we, the custodians of the creek, we will use our school values of Be Brave, Be Kind, Be Respectful and Be Responsible - when we interact with this Country, to hold onto the memories of the past and ensure it can be enjoyed by future generations.
Our school is proud to have developed a Reconcilliation Action Plan (RAP) to strengthen relationships, respect and opportunities in the classroom, around the school and with the community. This action plan can be viewed from our school documentation page.
